Trick or Treat date fror Brentwood

This year Trick or Treat to be on Wednesday, October 31st from 5pm-7pm.   Halloween is a night of fun and fright, but it does require extra caution when it comes to keeping your "little monsters" safe. According to Safe Kids Worldwide, “on average, twice as many child pedestrians are killed while walking on Halloween compared to any other day of the year, and more than 70 percent of accidents occur away from an intersection or crosswalk.”   As usual, we will have extra patrols out during Trick or Treat to ensure you and your children's safety.  We can't wait to see you all out there!   Here is a useful link to help you with some things that may slip your mind when it comes to Halloween safety:  https://blog.nationwide.com/ha...     ...read more

Support for New Hampshire Chiefs of Police

Local McDonald’s Franchisees Support New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police with Second Statewide Fundraiser

On Wednesday, October 3rd, McDonald’s franchisees across New Hampshire will spearhead a fundraising effort to donate $50,000 to the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police. From 4 to 7 p.m., McDonald’s customers can lend their support by purchasing a meal at their neighborhood McDonald’s. All 54 McDonald’s restaurants across New Hampshire have committed to donating, and a percentage of the evening’s sales from customers will contribute to the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police. “McDonald’s franchisees across New Hampshire are proud to show our continued support for all the Police Departments statewide. Through this unique fundraising event, we raised nearly $52,000 in 2016 and look to raise $50,000 again this year,” said Peter Napoli, local McDonald’s Owner/Operator in New Hampshire. “As business owners, we see the positive impact the police have on our communities and residents, protecting us day in and day out, and we’re proud to raise funds so they can operate at their highest level.” During the October 3rd fundraiser, a local area police officer and a cruiser will be on site at each McDonald’s from 4 to 7 p.m. The officers will meet and greet families and children in addition to providing educational tips and information to customers. McDonald’s will also recognize several officers throughout the state who go above and beyond in the line of duty as well as those officers who are highly invested in the community. The New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police is a 501 (c) (6) organization with a focus on public safety and elevating the standards of police service and the advancement of the highest ethical and professional standards. The money raised through this event will assist in providing high-quality law enforcement training and the continued development of the profession of law enforcement toward the police’s efforts in supporting the communities they serve. Pat Sullivan, Executive Director New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police, added, “The New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police enjoyed participating in the McDonald’s inaugural fundraising effort in 2016 and looks forward to partnering with McDonald’s again this year. This effort raises money for continued training programs that allow us to best maintain the safety of New Hampshire residents. We also appreciate the opportunity to interact with local families and community members to shed light on our jobs in law enforcement, building one-on-one connections.” CONTACT: Erin Blecharczyk McDonald’s Restaurants erin.blecharczyk@us.stores.mcd.com (603) 732-0864 x37   ...read more
