Red Cross Babysitter Training Course
Sunday, March 31st 10am-4pm @ Brentwood Community Center
This fun interactive course teaches first aid and safety skills so sitters can prevent and respond to emergencies. They will learn to supervise infants to school age children, make good responsible decisions and perform basic care routines.
Each student becomes Red Cross certified and receives a card noting this accomplishment. In addition to acquiring new skills, the students also come to learn that they are of an age at which they can be entrusted with additional responsibilities.
The students not only leave with a set of skills and an appreciation for the level of responsibility with which they would need to conduct themselves, but they are provided tools to accomplish this task. Each student receives materials, including the Red Cross Babysitter Handbook, emergency reference guide, emergency contact notebook, basic first aid supplies, a first aid guide, and a CD-ROM with additional resources.
Space is limited.
