The Town of Brentwood is seeking a high performing professional administrative assistant to support the Town Administrator and Board of Selectmen.
Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a variety of duties for the overall financial welfare of the town which includes processing payroll, payables, general ledger, data entry, and customer service.
Candidate must have strong administrative proficiency, strong attention to detail, above average organizational ability, communication skills, and be able to multi-task. Ideal candidate will be discreet and diplomatic, comfortable interacting with internal staff, residents, and vendors.
We offer a great work environment and competitive wage. This is a regular part time position of 32 hours per week. Salary is commensurate with experience. Medical benefits and paid time off available. College degree preferred; Finance or Accounting experience required. We are an equal opportunity employer.
