The Town of Brentwood, NH is accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Firefighter/AEMT or Firefighter/Paramedic. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. This position is responsible to provide fire suppression, prevention and emergency medical transport services to the Town of Brentwood.
Minimum Qualifications Include: High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree or higher in a related field is preferred); Licensed provider at the AEMT or EMT-P level; NH or Pro-Board Certified Firefighter II; valid drivers license with tank and air brake endorsements (CDL).
Applicants must meet State of New Hampshire Administrative Rule 701 for Firefighter Entrance Requirements. Successful completion of CPAT as well as being a candidate on the NH Statewide Firefighter Eligibility List or lateral transfer of a full-time career personnel pursuant to Administrative Rule 703.01 will be accepted.
Candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment will be required to pass a physical exam, drug screen, motor vehicle record check and criminal background check.
The Town of Brentwood offers a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurances, 11 paid holidays and earned time accrual. The starting pay range is $44,067.40 - $48,155.90 annualized.
