On September 16, 2016,Governor Hassan, representatives of municipalities, and state and federal
agencies held a conference call to discuss the drought. NHDES is urging the public to discontinue non
-essential outdoor water use and to take efficiency measures indoors. The Brentwood Board of Selectmen is asking all residents to voluntarily restrict water consumption. Attached are some tips on easy ways to conserve water.

The Town has been working with Mapping and Planning Solutions to update the Local Emergency Operations Plan.
The purpose of the Emergency Operations Plan is to facilitate the delivery of all types of emergency response and to help deal with the consequences of significant disasters. The Plan outlines the planning assumptions, policies, concept of operations, organizational structures and specific assignments of responsibility to the Town departments and agencies involved in coordinating the local, regional and state response activities.
The plan is near completion. Before it is brought to the Selectmen for adoption, it will be available at the Selectmen’s Office for public review. It is the intent for the Board of Selectmen to make the final inspection and vote on adoption at their meeting on September 13th.

Hours of Operation:Mon, Wed, Thurs: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Tues: 8:30am - 8:00pm
Fri: 8:30am - 4:00pm

The transfer station is now open on Tuesday and Thursday's 3pm to 6pm and the first Saturday of the month 9am to 12pm. Don't forget to get your C&D sticker at the selectmen's office if you are disposing construction material. No sticker is required for a resident to dispose of brush on their own.
